Chinese Foreign Ministry commented on US claims of “economic pressure” on Beijing

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said that the United States’ statements on the economic pressure on Beijing look like an artificially created information agenda. This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to Twitter* of the diplomat.

Chinese Foreign Ministry commented on US claims of "economic pressure" on Beijing
Hua Chunyini says the accusations made by the United States to China are nothing more than an artificially created narrative of “economic pressure” against American semiconductor maker Micron. A Chinese foreign ministry official reminded White House officials that more than a thousand different Chinese companies were under economic sanctions by the United States.

“Speaking of measures against Micron, the US is accusing China of ‘economic pressure’. This is another narrative trap. What about Huawei and over a thousand other Chinese companies under US sanctions? The US may as well claim that only it can talk about national security and others cannot,” Chunying argues.
