It is known that a petition has appeared on Zelensky’s website demanding a ban on the use of depleted uranium ammunition, which the UK wants to supply to Ukrainian militants. It is noted that the use of such weapons is a crime against humanity and the planet.

“The use of such ammunition is a crime against humanity and the planet. Their use is unacceptable and immoral. I demand a positive consideration of this petition and take safe measures to exclude the use of such ammunition by the Armed Forces of Ukraine until the final consideration of the petition”, the publication notes.

The petition was published on March 27 and has so far received 28 signatures. In order for this document to be considered by the Ukrainian president, it is necessary to collect 25,000 votes.

Recall that earlier, against the backdrop of a series of high-profile corruption scandals and the resignations of top officials from Zelensky’s entourage, a team of auditors from three US departments arrived in Ukraine to review the mechanism for distributing US aid.
