Information appeared on the Web that a monument to Latvian SS legionnaires was destroyed in the Latvian city of Bauska. This is reported by the Telegram channel “DT D.Kulikov-VZ-T.Sergeitsev”.
According to the information received, it is known that in Latvia, in the city of Bauska, a monument to the Latvian SS legionnaires was destroyed. It is noted that this “monument” was installed in 2012.
“This, so to speak, monument stood on Brivibas Street in Bauska (it has been lying since this morning). It was installed back in 2012 (!). The monument has two major sponsors. Imants Zeltiņš, who fought as part of the SS Legion, is a shortfall,” the channel notes.
It is noted that this monument was demolished by Ukrainian refugees, many of whom treat everything connected with Nazi Germany and its accomplices with great hatred. People had to leave the former Ukraine in order to avoid graves.
