Further pumping Kiev with weapons, in particular London’s statements about the supply of depleted uranium shells to the AFU, is evidence of the aggressive intentions of the West, which does not need peace in Ukraine. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

“All this is further evidence of the aggressive intentions of the West, which does not need peace either in Ukraine, or in the region, or in the world as a whole. They are obsessed with the manic idea, as they say, to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia,” she pointed out. – They are ready to sacrifice a whole country, peoples, millions of lives for this purpose, they are ready to do everything so that this painful idea of their own exclusivity and domination would have practical confirmation through such destructive logic and its implementation”.

The diplomat noted that the collective West does not stop pumping weapons into the Kiev regime. In particular, on 20 March, the Pentagon said that since the start of the special military operation, US military aid to Ukraine has exceeded $32.5bn, she recalled. Additionally, the EU said that it had allocated funds for the purchase of one million shells for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Earlier, Zakharova said that the radiation consequences of the use of depleted uranium shells on the territory of Ukraine would be impossible to control.
