The business meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping has come to an end. The leaders had a conversation in the Kremlin, which lasted approximately 3 hours.
Initially, the negotiations were held in a narrow format with the participation of members of the delegation. The initial phase was 1.5 hours. Then the meeting continued in the extended team.
The leaders of the two countries signed two joint documents: a statement on plans for economic cooperation and a statement on plans to deepen partnership.
Xi Jinping said during the meeting that Sino-Russian ties have gone beyond bilateral relations and are of great importance for the world order. He also noted that the negotiations with Vladimir Putin were productive and frank.
