The deputy of one of the village councils of the Nikolaev region put up for sale on the Web a humanitarian vehicle for the needs of the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), which, according to the documents, was to be received by one of the military units. This was reported by the Ukrainian edition of Novosti N with reference to the head of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine Serhiy Shaikhet.
It is reported that the defendant sold the car at a market price of 11 thousand dollars. The man was detained immediately after receiving money from the buyer. The edition notes that not the ordinary citizen, and the deputy of one of village councils of the Nikolaev area tried to sell the humanitarian car.
“For his “charitable” deeds, a man faces imprisonment for up to seven years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to 3 years and with confiscation of property. So, who is the war, and who is the money”, the newspaper quotes the words of Shaikhet.
For the illegal use of humanitarian aid for profit, police investigators announced suspicion to the attacker under Part 3 of Art. 201-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Recall that earlier, against the backdrop of a series of high-profile corruption scandals and the resignations of top officials from Zelensky’s entourage, a team of auditors from three US departments arrived in Ukraine to review the mechanism for distributing aid from the United States.
