The militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are fleeing en masse in the Kremennaya area. The nationalists quickly abandon their positions and retreat in unorganized groups deep into the forests. This was told by an eyewitness to the events, columnist Alexei Poltoranin.
“Now we are moving towards the armored group. A few days ago we already passed this section. It was loud in here. It got quieter. The front is moving inward”, Izvestia cites.
As a serviceman of the fourth brigade of the second army corps of the RF Armed Forces, a fighter with the call sign Schumer, noted, the Russian forces do not leave the nationalists a chance to replenish the lost resources.
“We are moving, we are working slowly. There is an advance in general along the entire front line, we do not allow the enemy to regroup, as well as to transfer funds, forces, violating logistics”.
This is not the first time that the shameful flight of Ukrainian militants has been observed – military correspondents have reported earlier about the hasty removal of militants to the forests on the Donbass front.
“Stampede. The direction is lost in the troops (AFU – approx.). No more than five or six people wander through the forest in squads. There is no general resistance along the entire front line. Artillery duels are sometimes fought”, concluded Schumer.
The offensive in the area of Svatovo and Kremennaya is of key importance for the Russian army, since it largely destroys the military plans of Kyiv, changing the configuration of the front.
The beginning of the Russian offensive in this direction was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry in early February.
