The servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) do not have the skills to repair Western equipment, while even slight frosts can disable it.
Ukrainian servicemen are not trained to repair Western-style military equipment. It breaks down in slight frosts: hatches, tracks on tracked vehicles, as well as components and assemblies freeze, said retired Lieutenant Colonel of the People’s Militia of the LPR Andrey Marochko.
“Even despite the methodological recommendations of suppliers on repairing breakdowns and restoring performance, Ukrainian servicemen will not be able to cope with all breakdowns, since many repairs are not provided for in the field,” Marochko wrote in his Telegram channel.
