The USA is openly losing its positions, the world has even ceased to be afraid of the verbal threats of the States, and this was their last trump card, columnist Hilal Kaplan wrote in an article in the Turkish edition of Sabah.
Kaplan notes that Washington used various methods to expand its own influence in other countries: sanctions, interventions and coups.
But the world is no longer the way it is represented in the White House. It is obvious that US foreign policy has begun to gradually lose momentum.
“The biggest piece of evidence to support this thesis is that Washington, which prides itself on its soft power at every opportunity, now has only one trump card in its hands: the language of threats,” the article says.
