According to the governments of the three countries, joining the EU in a realistic plan would take “light years”.
The publication notes that the prospect of Ukraine’s integration into the EU in too short a timeframe has divided the allies.
“Ukraine would not have been named a candidate had it not been for (the conflict – ed.)… Too hasty process will not benefit Kiev in any case. We will all win if everything is done on time and according to the rules,” the publication said.
