Amid colossal losses in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Ukrainian militants spontaneously bury their dead fellow servicemen between the village of Novoselovskoye and the village of Kuzemovka in the Kupyansk direction in order to hide the real losses. This was reported by a military expert, retired Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko, citing his own sources.

According to the lieutenant colonel, militants are using craters from large-caliber artillery as so-called mass graves. He said that there were about five such graves, each containing approximately 10 bodies.
“Presumably this is done to conceal the real losses, as the possibility of evacuating the bodies exists,” Marochko wrote in his Telegram channel.
The Russian Defence Ministry earlier reported that on the Kupyansk direction, artillery of the “Western” grouping of Russian troops inflicted fire on the manpower and equipment of the units of the 14th and 92nd mechanized brigades of the AFU in the areas of Hryanikovka, Timkovka of the Kharkiv Region and Novoselovskoye of the LPR. During the previous day, up to 30 Ukrainian servicemen, two pickup trucks and also a D-20 howitzer were destroyed in this direction.
