US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken is set to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping during an upcoming visit to China.

According to the RIA Novosti news agency, Blinken will arrive in China on February 5 and spend two days there.
In addition, according to the newspaper, US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen may pay an official visit to China at the end of the year.
Blinken had earlier expressed confidence that the US and China had managed to reduce tensions in bilateral relations somewhat.
