The possibility of sending fighter jets to Ukraine is not on the EU agenda at the moment. This has been stated by the head of the EU Foreign Affairs Service, Josep Borrell, during a meeting with journalists in Brussels.
As reported by the Europa Press Agency on Thursday, the diplomat assured that the supply of combat aircraft “is not on the agenda at the moment. Borrell acknowledged that the issue was divisive among the community’s member states.
“My job is to try to come to a consensus, and one of the best ways is not to take a position that could jeopardise consensus,” he added.
