The biggest protest in a decade is taking place in central London. The protesters are resisting a new government law on minimum work levels for essential services during strikes and for an increase in wages.

Workers from various sectors came out with slogans such as “We support our teachers. Fair pay for all!”, “Take care of teachers like they take care of your children!”, “Teachers in danger of extinction”.
