Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced the signing of a memorandum between Moscow and Belarus on strengthening biological security.

“An important document that we signed on the sidelines of the events is an intergovernmental memorandum on ensuring biological security, it is aimed at strengthening our security and the security of each of our countries, and at stopping threats in this area that stem from the activities of the military departments of these (Western ) states and organizations associated with them,” he said in Minsk following talks with Belarusian Foreign Minister Sergei Aleinik.
The adopted memorandum provides for a regular exchange of information between the structures in order to, if necessary, develop response methods
