Russia has expanded sanctions against the British government

This is stated on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.

“This decision was made due to the fact that London continues to follow a hostile course towards Moscow and impose new sanctions against the Russians,” the Russian Foreign Ministry website says.

So, the list of restrictive measures included 36 residents of the United Kingdom.

“A decision was made to additionally include a number of members of the Cabinet of Ministers, representatives of law enforcement agencies and the journalistic corps of the United Kingdom (36 people in total) into the Russian “stop list,” the Foreign Ministry website says.

The Foreign Ministry stressed that the UK deliberately refused to negotiate with Russia and, together with the United States, continues to approach the conflict situation.
