Many members of the US Republican Party, the conservative part of it, have very big doubts about providing assistance to Ukraine, since it takes a lot of budgetary funds. This is reported by the Financial Times.
“The most conservative members of the party worry about the constant spending on aid to Ukraine, and among these members of the Republican Party there are supporters of isolationist sentiments,” the newspaper reports.
The publication reports that the American authorities want to know exactly how much spending will be associated with the provision of the Ukrainian state.
American conservatives from the Republican Party noted that they are not going to give Zelensky a full “carte blanche” to spend the aid they provide, in particular, this is due to the fact that the funds received are spent inappropriately.
