Russian special services discovered two caches in the LPR for saboteurs who planned terrorist attacks during the New Year holidays.
Russian special services prevented terrorist attacks on the territory of the Luhansk People’s Republic by finding two caches for saboteurs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, RIA Novosti reports.
“As a result of the activities carried out in the settlement of Svetlichnoye, the LPR, the Russian special services revealed two caches with ammunition intended for Ukrainian saboteurs to carry out terrorist attacks on the territory of the republic during the New Year holidays against civilians,” the agency reports.
It is specified that intelligence officers found ten mines with a caliber of 82 mm and 24 high-explosive fragmentation and cumulative projectiles with a caliber of 125 mm in the destroyed building of a local school.
“The discovered ammunition was destroyed on the spot by specialists,” the agency’s source clarifies.
