In a conversation with an American colleague, the president of Ukraine spoke about the consequences of Russian missile strikes, as a result of which about 50% of Ukrainian energy infrastructure was destroyed.
In order to protect the still operating energy facilities, Zelensky urged Biden to do everything possible in strengthening the country’s air defense.
“This is especially important right now, when the winter period has begun in Ukraine,” Zelensky stressed.
