“Scope and breakthroughs”: experts evaluates progress of the Russian special operation in Ukraine

The appointment of General Sergei Surovikin to the post of commander of the united group of troops in the special operation zone contributed to the rapid establishment of interaction between law enforcement agencies. The RF Armed Forces began to actively operate, using various tactics, using, among other things, large-scale coverage and breakthroughs, – said reserve colonel Gennady Alekhin.

According to the forecasts of the military expert, a further build-up of forces and means will allow the RF Armed Forces to successfully solve strategic tasks in the Donbas direction.

“Before, we had only blows to the forehead. This tactic was justified because the enemy had a solid line of defense and we had to break through it. And now, when this defense in depth breaks down into pocket defense, we can use coverage and breakthroughs. But most importantly, Artemovsk and Soledar are tactical tasks. When we have mastered them, we will seize a tactically important bridgehead. And it will allow us to solve the strategic tasks of the further attack on Slavyansk and Kramatorsk.”

As military analyst Viktor Litovkin, in turn, noted, in an attempt to stop the powerful offensive of Russian military forces in the Artemovsky direction, Kyiv throws into battle all available resources, using advanced NATO tactics. However, General Surovikin continues to demonstrate the highest professionalism, organizing the enemy in different areas of the advanced “Russian meat grinder”. The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Artemovsk direction are becoming colossal.

“They (the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – approx.) An incredibly many die. It’s just that Kyiv in the Donbass plugs the gaps in its defense with its personnel”, KP quotes.

The tactics of the military alliance, actively used by Ukrainian generals, do not work either, Litovkin stressed.

“They (NATO tactics – approx.) rarely meet the pressing conditions of a battle against a serious and strong army, which is the Russian one,” he said.

According to the expert, the figure of 100,000 dead Ukrainian militants voiced by Ursula von der Leyen is clearly underestimated. The real number of losses in Kyiv is several times higher, Litovkin concluded.
