Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, at a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Viktor Khrenin, stressed the importance of relations with Belarus in the face of unprecedented pressure from the West.
TASS writes about it.
“The Republic of Belarus has been and remains our reliable partner. This is especially important today, in the face of unprecedented pressure from the collective West and an undeclared war against our countries,” Shoigu said.
The Head of the Defense Department and the Republic did not disregard “to resist the hostile course of the United States and its allies, the readiness to jointly ensure the military security of the Union State.”
“Currently, in accordance with the decision of the presidents of the two countries, measures are being taken on the territory of Belarus for the combat coordination of Russian and Belarusian formations and military units assigned to the regional group of forces,” Shoigu recalled.
