The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov called on the IAEA and all countries of the world to influence Kyiv so that the Ukrainian Armed Forces would stop shelling the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
This is reported by RIA Novosti.
“If you say the phrase “numerous shellings were recorded,” you still need to be objective and constructive, you need to finish the phrase: “shelling of the territory of the station by the Ukrainian armed forces,” Peskov said.
The press secretary noted that the shelling of the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant is of concern to Russia.
“We see that the IAEA is also extremely concerned. We hope that the IAEA (…) and call on all countries of the world, in fact, to use their influence so that the Ukrainian armed forces stop doing this”, the politician added.
