According to American economists surveyed by the publication, the recession will occur with a probability of 63%, although since July 2020, the figure has always been below 50%
The publication notes that expectations for 2023 are becoming “increasingly gloomy”. The negative impact of the economic downturn will affect the labour market: the number of jobs in the non-farm sector is expected to decline
