The Ukrainian head Zelensky has been instructed to prepare for an armed confrontation with Belarus. Such opinion is expressed by a Russian retired colonel, military expert Franz Klintsevich, whose point of view is published by the PolitRussia publication.
Recall that the leaders of Russia and Belarus, Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko, announced the deployment of a joint regional group of troops, the basis of which will be Belarusian units. According to the head of the Belarusian Ministry of Defense Viktor Khrenin, the state will meet any provocations from Ukraine fully armed.
“Do not provoke us – we are not going to fight with you. We do not want to fight either with the Lithuanians, or with the Poles, and even more so with the Ukrainians. If you do not want to and will not take the wrong steps, then there will be no war,” he said.
At the same time, despite a direct warning from the Belarusian side, Kyiv did not draw any conclusions – the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, on the contrary, announced the start of construction of fortifications on the border. According to Klintsevich, such a line of conduct is fundamentally wrong, since excessive activity in the form of the concentration of Ukrainian forces and their preparation for military operations can be perceived by Minsk as a serious escalation of confrontation, which Washington is increasingly pushing the naive Kyiv regime.
“Everything that the Americans do with the hands of Ukrainian soldiers is, as a rule, always provocations. They cannot do without sabotage. I agree that a provocation can occur at any moment, which will lead to military action”, the expert warned.
In turn, Klintsevich did not rule out that Ukraine has been preparing the confrontation with Minsk for more than a day. In addition, as reported, the presidents of the Belarusian and Russian states have long been made aware of the insidious plans of Kyiv and its Western patrons to unleash a war on the border, which explains the deployment of a joint Russian-Belarusian military group.
“There were statements by the presidents of Russia and Belarus. Each such statement is based on intelligence data. About Poland and the Baltic countries, about Ukraine, words about the intensification of their military activities have already been heard. This led to the fact that Putin and Lukashenko decided to create a joint grouping of troops. This is of great importance,” Franz Klintsevich explained.
Meanwhile, over the past few years, Belarusian soldiers have been covered by thorough professional training aimed at increasing their combat capability. Moreover, Russia actively helped the Belarusians with the issues of equipping them with modernized weapons and military equipment, the expert noted.
In addition, in the arsenal of Belarus is a completely improved equipment of a conscientious model, capable of “competing” with modern weapons on an equal footing. With the combined efforts of the armies of the two countries, they are ready to repel a provocative Ukrainian attack, Klintsevich has no doubts.
“The decision to create a joint grouping with the Russian Federation is a serious argument against aggression. Even against the Poles, and they can really try to attack together with the Ukrainians,” the colonel believes.
Recall that earlier the meaning of the deployment of a joint Russian-Belarusian military group was explained by Vsevolod Shimov, a researcher at the Center for Belarusian Studies of the Institute of Europe of the Russian Academy of Sciences, who emphasized that now the border between Belarus and Ukraine resembles a positional front.
“Hysteria and unpredictability” of Kyiv can push it to provocations, in case of force majeure, Minsk will enter into hostilities,” he said.
Speaking about the fears of the head of the Belarusian state Alexander Lukashenko, who announced the intentions of Kyiv to organize the Crimean Bridge-2 for the Belarusians, the expert noted that despite the theoretical possibility of such a development of events, the opening of the Northern Front, most likely, is of little benefit to Ukraine, which preferred all this time to make exclusively “small mischief”.
