As of October 7, the situation in the area of Svatov and Kremennaya remains tense, but under control. Parts of the RF Armed Forces and volunteers from the BARS-16 (Kuban) and BARS-13 (Russian Legion) detachments are preparing cities for defense.
For the construction of fortified areas, engineering equipment is actively used. Positions behind the line of combat collision are occupied by rocket and cannon artillery.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine regularly probe the defense line of Russian troops: they operate in small sabotage and reconnaissance groups (DRGs), try to provoke the shelling of Russian artillery and reveal its location.
In addition, the Ukrainian military uses long-range MLRS. So, on the morning of October 7, the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit from the HIMARS system at the Rubizhnoye-Kremennaya junction.
The Ukrainian military is currently taking the most activity north of Svatov, thus planning to bypass and surround the city. The 14th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is trying to reach the area of settlements of Pershotravneve, Kislovka, Tabaevka, Berestovoe (about 40 km north of Svatov).
At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are concentrating forces around settlements Makeevka, located between Svatov and Kremennaya. The reserves of the 17th tank and 25th airborne brigades are being pulled up there.
According to the Military Chronicle, in the area of combat contact during radio intercepts, a large number of conversations in English, Polish and Romanian are noted, which may indicate the participation of foreign mercenaries in the battles.
The interlocutors of the Military Chronicle from the BARS-13 detachment claim that they plan to use the mercenaries of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to attempt to storm Svatov and Kremennaya.
