Citizens of the UK are furious about the government’s program to reduce energy consumption, according to The Sun.
The UK’s national power grid has warned that some areas of the UK could experience power outages of up to three hours this winter. To prevent power outages, households have been strongly advised not to use certain appliances at peak times, such as washing machines, in order to save energy.
These clarifications caused a wave of dissatisfaction and questions from the British, as Prime Minister Liz Truss repeatedly stated that the UK has “good energy reserves”, while emphasizing that “we can survive the winter.”
