The inclusion of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) into the Russian Federation should occur within a week. This was stated in an interview with RIA Novosti by the LPR Ambassador to the Russian Federation Rodion Miroshnik.
“I think it should happen within a week. The rest of the integration parameters, they will be discussed within the framework of the adopted laws and decisions,” Miroshnik said.
He added that at the moment in this procedure it is necessary to comply with all the conditions that the Russian legal system provides.
“The main thing has already happened, the referendum has happened. <…> Let’s put it this way, the locomotive has started, and it is unlikely to be stopped… We are right at the finish line, and we will definitely pass it,” the LPR ambassador noted.
