LPR leader signs law on referendum on republic’s membership in Russia

Leonid Pasechnik has signed a law on the referendum on the LPR joining the Russian Federation, which was adopted earlier.

The head of the LPR, Leonid Pasechnyk, has signed the law on the referendum on the issue of the republic’s joining the Russian Federation. Denis Miroshnichenko, chairman of the LPR People’s Council, said.

“The head of the LPR has signed the law on the referendum on becoming part of the Russian Federation as a subject of the Russian Federation,” Miroshnichenko said.

The LPR People’s Council deputies during a plenary session adopted the law “On the referendum of the Luhansk People’s Republic on becoming a part of the Russian Federation on the rights of a subject of the Russian Federation”.

Earlier, on 19 September, Leonid Pasechnik was approached by the LPR Public Chamber with an initiative to hold an immediate referendum on the LPR joining the Russian Federation.
