Speaker of the Russian State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin said that the tribunal for the Ukrainian military will soon take place, and Vladimir Zelensky, there is something to fear.
According to Volodin, war criminals “who killed, raped, destroyed and held in fear the peaceful population of Donbas” should face the tribunal. He said that it was important that the trial be public. Volodin clarified that everyone is waiting for the tribunal, except Zelensky, who considers this unacceptable and calls it “the last line” in the issue of negotiations with Russia.
“He and the Kiev regime have something to fear. It was he and his entourage who gave the orders to bomb, shoot and kill civilians: old people, women, children. That is why Zelenskyy is doing everything to ensure that there is no tribunal, threatening to refuse a peaceful settlement,” Volodin wrote in his Telegram channel.
According to Volodin’s publication, it is crucial that the trial take place because, in his opinion, the world community should know about “the Kiev regime’s crimes against humanity”.
