Gas supply to Kherson region will be established from the Crimea, this issue will be resolved by the end of the year – the regional administration.

Gas supply to Kherson region will be established by the Crimea. This issue will be resolved by the end of the year, the press service of the regional administration has said.

The administration stressed that Deputy Minister for Economic Development Sergey Nazarov paid a working visit to the region and held a meeting on social and economic issues.

“According to Sergey Nazarov, the gas supply to the region will now be established from the Crimea. This issue will be resolved by the end of the year, as will the restoration of electricity supply in Snigirevka (a liberated town in Mykolayiv Region),” the statement said.

The administration stressed that as a result of the shelling from the Ukrainian side, around 4,500 residents of Kherson Region were left without gas supply.
