“The EU has not yet held discussions on the matter. They say a formal EU decision on sanctions against Turkey would be a challenge, given the disagreements on the issue within the bloc,” the publication wrote.
Washington has repeatedly warned that it would hit countries that help Russia evade sanctions with “secondary sanctions” aimed at violations beyond US legal jurisdiction, the Financial Times recalls.
