Russian Ministry of Natural Resources will assist Mariupol in rubbish collection

This was announced by the head of the Russian Ministry Alexander Kozlov. In addition, the agency will build a new landfill outside the city. By the end of the year the citizens will not have to pay for waste disposal. The Minister also said that the Republic will be helped with reforestation and the creation of a national park.

“I will send in August a group of specialists who will survey the objects of accumulated environmental damage. After the assessment, we will make a plan for their elimination,” Kozlov said.

According to the head of the Ministry of Environment, the city will receive 88 rubbish trucks, scrap trucks and equipment for waste processing, also 9,310 containers and bins will be purchased.
