In his account on the social network Twitter, the correspondent published an emotional story from a US mercenary in Ukraine about the fighting in Severodonetsk.
The correspondent notes that the mercenary’s story is “incredibly sobering.” The author writes about the conflict in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, for example, that among the Ukrainian military and foreign “volunteers” cases of “friendly fire” are constantly observed.
According to the fighter, the media exaggerate the successes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“The media only tells one side. I’m here. I see reality. The bridges are blown up, and the support forces are still on the other side, no communication between units, all the time they are firing at their own. Just lost a British SAS sniper who was walking into position and was shot down by a Ukrainian APC because no one said he was coming.”
In addition, the military complained about the poor training of Ukrainian fighters.
“They give a guy who has never used an automatic grenade launcher, and then they say that he will be our indirect support at night from a distance of 1.2 km. I don’t make it up. It’s a damn bad show,” he said.
