“While Russia is killing our citizens, the Israeli government remains in its “comfort zone” and refrains from providing Ukraine with any minimal defensive means,” the ambassador said.

He clarified that under defensive means, he considers mainly the Israeli Iron Dome air defense system, as well as other means of defense.

The Israeli government is not actively helping Ukraine, the ambassador said. According to him, to date, Ukraine has received only 10% of the Ukrainian-Israeli agreement on the supply of helmets and body armor.

Korniychuk also added that Israel is slow in receiving the wounded Ukrainian soldiers, as well as in sending the necessary humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
