The Kyiv authorities asked India to become one of the guarantors of its security, as well as to help with the restoration of the country, The Hindu newspaper writes.
“We also expect India to be actively involved in post-war construction (in Ukraine – ed.). We also expect (from India – ed.) additional humanitarian assistance, medicines and some technical and financial assistance”, the source said.
The Hindu publication reports that to date, the Indian government and private companies have already sent a total of 230 tons of humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
