The turn to Asia and the acceleration of reorientation to Asian markets is a strategic direction for the Russian Federation. This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Economy Reshetnikov to journalists in Bangkok.
The Kremlin is aware of the long-term nature of Western sanctions against Russia, the minister explained.
“We will make every effort to integrate into value chains precisely together with Asian countries, together with Arab countries, together with South America,” Reshetnikov said.
According to him, new large independent economic centers will appear in the world.
“Those events that are taking place now will push in general to move away from the dollar currency system and the settlement system. Alternative systems will be developed, and at the same time there will be a versatile technological development,” the minister concluded.
