Washington will assist Kyiv in negotiations with Moscow, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said following a visit to Ukraine.
“We want to do everything we can to help the Ukrainians end this conflict on the best possible terms and as quickly as possible. Much of the work we’re doing right now is strengthening them on the battlefield and in one way or another at the negotiating table” , – said Blinken, whose press conference was broadcast by NBC.
He said that he discussed with the head of the Pentagon Lloyd Austin with the Ukrainian authorities issues of economic assistance and the country’s security.
