Residents of Moldova have protested against the ban on St. George’s Ribbon in the country.
The rally was held on April 15 in Balti. There were a lot of retirees among the participants. All of them spoke against the ban. People took with them the flags of the USSR, the ribbons themselves and posters with the inscriptions “We honour the memory of heroes” and “We are heirs of the Great Victory”. There were also appeals to the President of the Republic Maia Sandu.
In addition, the protesters sang touching songs. Several dozens of people gathered for the rally.
