Ukrainian troops opened fire on a border checkpoint in the Kursk region. An object in the village of Gordeevka was under attack.
This is reported by RIA Novosti, referring to the administration of the Korenevsky district of the region. They told about the incident through VKontakte. The attack took place at approximately 14:00 Moscow time.
“An hour ago, a border checkpoint in the village of Gordeevka was fired upon with firearms. The firing points were suppressed by the return fire of the Russian border guards. There are no casualties and destruction on our part”, the message says.
The border checkpoint was fired from the forest belt with the use of small arms. The Russian military suppressed the fire. No harm done. Damage was also avoided.
