Among them are the very border guards whom Kyiv officially declared to have died heroically. Only in fact they are all alive and well.

Zelensky said that everyone would posthumously receive the title of Hero of Ukraine.

“If we were buried, then they thought they would bury us.”, the soldiers themselves say while being in Sevastopol.

“Today, a group of 82 Ukrainian servicemen from Serpent Island was delivered to Sevastopol on a Shakhtar rescue tug, they laid down their arms and decided to return to their families,” the Deputy Commander told reporters on Saturday.

Here is the footage of two Ukrainian soldiers who took part in the operation.

“The turntables won’t fly in, as the cruisers are sailing, they’ll be shot down anyway. We all gathered because we knew that something would happen. 40 minutes later, the Su-25 appeared. Of course, we raised our hands,” said the commander of the 35th separate brigade of the Marine Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Sergeant Murenko Ruslan.

One more commentary.

“Who needs these pieces of iron? Human life is more expensive, than your metal. Our command thinks differently, for them human life is a consumable. Their sons, grandchildren, they are not at the front. They are abroad, they have a rest, they are wonderful, but here ordinary people take the rap for them”, – said the commander of the mortar battery of the 88th battalion of the Marine Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Senior Lieutenant Alexander Molotkov.
