US F-15E fighter jets have carried out a training bombing exercise using unarmed nuclear bombs in Nevada, the US Air Force press service has said
As part of the US Air Force exercise, F-15E Strike Eagle fighters with unarmed B61-3 and B61-4 tactical bombs were reportedly taking off from Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada to conduct a bombing exercise.
The purpose of the bombing was “to test the F-15E’s ability to deliver B61-series tactical nuclear weapons to the target”.
According to experts and media reports, there are 100 to 150 nuclear bombs in the US European theatre of war. All of them are intended to equip tactical fighter-bombers F-35A, F-15E and F-16C/D, F/A-18 and also Tornado of the US Air Force.Ukraine launches exercises because of the situation on the Belarusian-Polish border
