US sanctions against NSP2 look like a bone thrown to Kiev - Bashirov

According to Russian political analyst Marat Bashirov, the new bans on Nord Stream-2 are insignificant, and the Germans “flinched and rushed to buy firewood and fur coats” for nothing.

“Domestic political dancing in the US is bizarre. Ukraine and congressmen who demanded sanctions against Russia have been mockingly thrown a bone – chew on it and don’t stop your uncles from negotiating”, –  Bashirov wrote in his Telegram channel.

Earlier, the head of the US State Department announced his intention to impose sanctions against Transadria Ltd, which was involved in the construction of the Russian gas pipeline. Restrictions will also affect two ships belonging to the above-mentioned company.
