Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki called on Germany to terminate the certification procedure for the Russian project and refuse to launch the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline.

“We need to work together for the sake of peace, and not give Vladimir Putin additional money in the form of payments for energy resources, with the help of which he can continue to build up weapons,” Moravetsky said.

He also turned to the possible chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, the leader of the Social Democrats, Olaf Scholz.

“Nord Stream-2 must be stopped,” the politician said.
