The forces of the Russian Aerospace Forces were forced to raise a Su-30 fighter into the air, as a British reconnaissance aircraft was seen near the borders in the Crimea region.

The aircraft took off to escort the enemy and prevent any provocations on his part. This is reported by Izvestia, referring to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

“In the period from 12:00 to 15:00 the reconnaissance aircraft RC-135 of the British Air Force tried to approach the state border of the Russian Federation in the region of the southwestern part of the Crimean peninsula. In order to control its actions, the Russian Aerospace Forces Su-30 fighter was lifted out of the duty forces”, the ministry said in a statement.

The British plane was replaced about 30 kilometers from the Russian borders. A Su-30 flew up to him, after which he changed course and left the area.
