Austria will lift all restrictions on air communication with Russia as of November 9, but the rules for entering the country will not change, Austrian Foreign Minister Michael Linhart said

“We welcome the Russian proposal and in return we will lift all restrictions on air traffic. Of course, the rules of entry remain unchanged,” – said the head of the Foreign Ministry.

Recall that entry from Russia to Austria is also possible on a tourist visa, but in the absence of a certificate of vaccination with one of the EU or WHO approved drugs, tourists are sent to a ten-day quarantine, which can be terminated early by passing the test on the sixth day after arrival.
