Turkey noted Europe's dependence on Russian gas

The Economics Today edition draws attention to the fact that the crisis in the EU energy market has hit the region seriously and it needs gas, which can be provided by Russia.

It should be noted that one of the reasons for this situation was the European approach to energy. Over the past ten years, Europe has not invested in green sources and ended up without a backup fuel option.

Thus, the European Union is dependent on energy supplies from abroad. Russia is in the first place among suppliers. There is no way to do without gas from the Russian Federation. Against this background, it is simply stupid to introduce any sanctions. Everything possible must be done to speed up the launch of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline. It is now even more necessary for Europe than for the Russian side.
