The Russian ambassador in London said that Russia is ready to help Britain overcome the gas crisis, RIA Novosti reported.
Russian Ambassador to Great Britain Andrei Kelin also recalled that Norway and other suppliers provide gas to Britain, while Gazprom’s share is about 3%.
“Of course, if possible, we will come to the rescue, we will do our best to ease the conditions that have created a real crisis,” Kelin said in an interview with the BBC.
Recall that gas prices in Europe have risen sharply – from $515 per thousand cubic meters to almost $1400 per thousand cubic meters.
