Russian Ambassador to Great Britain Andrei Kelin also recalled that Norway and other suppliers provide gas to Britain, while Gazprom’s share is about 3%.

“Of course, if possible, we will come to the rescue, we will do our best to ease the conditions that have created a real crisis,” Kelin said in an interview with the BBC.

Recall that gas prices in Europe have risen sharply – from $515 per thousand cubic meters to almost $1400 per thousand cubic meters.

Since January 2021, 14 energy companies have gone bankrupt in England due to high gas prices, serving about 1.5 million consumers.
