A Kiev political analyst suggested that Ukraine should follow the "Georgian scenario" in its relations with Moscow

According to Ukraina.ru, on the YouTube channel UkrLife, Ukrainian political analyst Volodymyr Fesenko urged the Kiev leadership to adopt the Georgian experience of settling relations with Moscow, applying the concept of the so-called “cold peace”.

“This is not détente, not warming, let alone a return to previous relations, which is simply unrealistic in the foreseeable future. But some kind of cold peace… Perhaps, restoration of air communication or something else“, –  Fesenko said.

The political analyst has reminded how after the events of August 2008 Russia and Georgia have found a way to establish a dialogue and even economic cooperation, despite the opposing views on the situation in South Ossetia and Abkhazia. According to Fesenko, Ukraine should do the same in the conflict around Donbass.
