“The Federal Grid Agency today requested information from Nord Stream-2 AG and, if necessary, evidence that all regulatory requirements will be met in the context of the pipeline operation”, the German Federal Grid Agency (Bundesnetzagentur) said in a statement.

The matter concerns the issues of non-discriminatory access to the gas pipeline network of other companies and the integration of the interconnection in the area of ​​the German market. The regulator also noted that the possibility of starting the operation of the gas pipeline in the near future cannot be ruled out.
