Russian vaccine against COVID “Sputnik Light” approved in Iran

The Russian single-component vaccine Sputnik Light has been approved for use in Iran. This was reported by the Russian Direct Investment Fund.

The fund noted that the Ministry of Health of the Islamic Republic of Iran has allowed the use of the vaccine in the country. Earlier, in January 2021, the Iranian government approved the use of the Sputnik V two-component vaccine.
